AI is new, it changes often, and it can be unpredictable. Stacked Intelligence does not make, own or control the AI programs, models, agents or services that we set up, connect or teach.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Stacked Intelligence is not liable for any loss of, or damage to, your data, files, folders, information, software, hardware or systems, however it happens.

1. AI is unpredictable
AI programs can give answers that are wrong, incomplete, out of date or made up. They can act in ways no one expected. The companies that make them can change, limit, replace or shut down their models, apps, agents, features, prices and rules at any time, without notice. Something that works today may work differently, or stop working, tomorrow. We can't predict or prevent these changes, and our work is always subject to them.
2. We don't control the AI, or what happens to your data there
The AI programs and agents we set up are made and run by other companies. We don't own, run or control them, their computers, or how they collect, store, use, share, keep or delete your data, files, folders or information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, and you accept those terms with them directly. Stacked Intelligence is an independent business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any company whose AI or tools we use.
3. Your data, files and backups
AI agents can read, write, move, change and delete files and folders on the computers and accounts they can reach. You decide what your AI can reach. Keep your own current backups of everything that matters, before and after any setup, training, update or fix. To the fullest extent the law allows, Stacked Intelligence is not responsible for data, files, folders or information that are lost, deleted, changed, damaged, exposed or stolen, whether it happens during our work or after it, and whether it is caused by an AI program, an agent, a person or anything else.
4. Software, hardware and systems
To the fullest extent the law allows, Stacked Intelligence is not responsible for damage to, or failure of, any software, hardware, device, network, account or system. That includes problems caused by AI programs, agents, updates, settings, add-ons, viruses, outages or other companies' services.
5. Check everything AI makes
AI drafts can contain mistakes. You are responsible for reading, checking and approving everything before you send, publish, sign, share or rely on it. Nothing from us or from your AI is legal, financial, tax, medical, real estate or other professional advice. When you need that kind of advice, ask a licensed professional.
6. Security and access
No system is completely secure. To the fullest extent the law allows, Stacked Intelligence is not responsible for hacking, data breaches, unauthorized access, or misuse of your accounts, passwords, devices or data, including by or through the AI tools you choose to use.
7. No guarantees
Our services, trainings, kits, files and this website are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties of any kind, stated or implied, including that anything will be accurate, complete, error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or fit for a particular purpose. Time saved, new customers, revenue and other results are goals, not guarantees. The examples on this website are made up to show how things work.
8. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Stacked Intelligence and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, data or goodwill, even if we were told they might happen. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 6 months before the claim. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.
9. Claims caused by your use
To the extent the law allows, if someone makes a claim against Stacked Intelligence because of how you used AI, your data, your content or our services, or because you broke this disclaimer or the law, you agree to cover the costs that result, including reasonable lawyer's fees.
10. Events outside our control
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as AI or platform outages, changes made by AI companies, internet or power failures, severe weather or illness.
11. Other websites and tools
This website links to, and our work uses, websites and tools run by other companies, such as email services and form services. We don't control them and, to the fullest extent the law allows, aren't responsible for them.
12. Your signed agreement
If you have a signed agreement with Stacked Intelligence, it applies too. Where it and this page say different things, the signed agreement controls.
13. General
The laws of the State of New York govern this disclaimer. If any part of it can't be enforced, the rest still applies. We may update this page at any time, and the date at the top shows the current version.
